Two Out Of Three Ain't Bad

Miles was lucky enough to meet two out of his three grandparents the last few days. Gramma Carey came into town on Saturday to meet him, and was able to stay until this mroning. In an almost funny twist of fate, Grampy got stranded in Denver on his way to D.C. Sunday night. Nana gets her turn to hold him in 29 days.





Miles is continuing to do great. He feeds every three hours, he sleeps better than Elijah did, and I think he's almost smiling.

Healthy Baby

Miles had his 2 week check-up today. His weight is now 8 lbs 10 1/2 oz, and he's grown an inch and a half (21 1/2 inches). so Dr. Rich was pretty pleased. He'll go back in 6 weeks for his 2 month check-up.

He's sleeping well, and feeding well. He's such a good baby. We're trying to get him to do tummy time, but he isn't too keen on that yet. He prefers to be held, so he can study you. Elijah is really good with him, which is great.

What Child Is This?

I feel like I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop. Miles just sleeps and sleeps, whereas Elijah never slept like this. Last night, I only had to wake up and feed him once. He fed at 9:30pm, then didn't wake to be fed again until 3:30am! I'm a little worried, but we're seeing the doctor on Thursday, so we'll talk about it with Dr. Rich. I'm hoping he won't need the supplements like Elijah did.

He has already been to the doctor (Monday), and the doctor said he looks great. So everything else is going well.
