6 Months Old

I wanted to wait to post until after Miles had his 6 month checkup. It went very well. Dr. Steve said he looks great. He commented on how cute he is, and how he must just get kisses all day long. He got 4 shots, plus another dose of the rotovirus vaccine.

The Stats:
Weight: 17 lbs, 11oz
Height: 27 7/8 in

His weight is only the 50th percentile, but his height is in the 90th. So he's gonna be a tall boy. Dr. Steve says most kids double their height in their first year, and he's already grown 7 inches since he was born.

We'll be giving him a new cereal soon, as well as starting on yellow veggies.

Miles is such a sweetie, we're very blessed.

Miles Tidbits

We took Miles to the pool for the first time today. He seemed to like it. He didn't get cold like skinny baby Elijah did.

Tonight we had our first successful cereal eating! Miles hated the taste of formula, so I mixed it with water and voila!

Evidently I didn't mention it before, but Miles has been sleeping great in his crib. A few months ago I asked Elijah if Miles could move into the crib, since he was too big for his bed. Elijah said okay, and the transition was made.

In two weeks Miles has his check up (and 4 shots), so I'll give you a height and weight update then.
